Short-term stays in Santa Marta: what people ask us most

When is high season in Santa Marta?

December and January, Easter week and the mid-year holidays are the peaks, plus Colombia's many long weekends. Rates rise then and beachfront apartments sell out weeks ahead. Between February and May, outside Easter, you get the best balance of price and weather.

Why isn't the nightly rate fixed?

Because it depends on the dates, how many nights you stay and how many of you there are. The rates on each listing are the reference we quote from; your exact rate is confirmed by an advisor on WhatsApp within minutes.

What is the minimum stay?

It depends on the apartment and the date. Off season two nights is usually enough; on long weekends and in high season the minimum is typically three or four. It is the first thing we confirm when quoting.

What does the apartment include?

Ours come furnished and equipped for cooking, with bed linen and towels, air conditioning and wifi, and access to the complex's shared areas — a pool and, in the southern corridor, direct beach access. Each listing details what that specific apartment has.

Can I put my apartment on short-term rental?

Yes, and it is one of the things we do. Two things are worth checking first: that the building's bylaws allow it — not all do — and compliance with the registration requirements that tourist activity demands. We review it with no obligation from the sell-or-rent page.
